About Compass Talks with Jen Kacin

Compass Talks is a video curriculum series for students, teachers and parents that offers vital skills to help navigate social and emotional struggles in middle school and beyond. Struggling to talk about vulnerable topics? Let me help you get the conversation started. Focus areas include: Confidence building, Self-Care, Healthy Friendship Habits, Decision-Making Skills, Emotional Intelligence/Regulation, and Bullying Prevention.

Meet Jen

Jen Kacin graduated in 2003 from the University of Michigan. A social worker of 20 years and a Student Support Coach in a middle school. Jen is passionate about encouraging kids, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
